那你知道‘“快递”的英文怎么说吗？
️01️“express”怎么理解？
我知道大家平时习惯用 express 来表达快递，但这却是错误的。
express 是一个总的抽象概念，不是我们说的具体包裹，它表达的是一种“快送服务”。
比如说我们买了一件商品，店家会用快递的方式发给我们，️通过快递的方式就是by express，一种服务方式。
express有好几种词性：形容词、副词、名词、动词，接下来C姐就和大家好好说道说道！
️express 这个单词作为️形容词时，它的意思其实是 moving or being sent fast，️“快速的；快递的；特快的”。
它可以用来形容各种行业中的快速服务，可不单单只用来指我们说的快递！

The dry cleaners offer a normal or ️an express service.
干洗店提供常规服务以及️快洗服务。
当 express 作为名词时，它也并不能用来指具体的包裹，它指的是 a service that does something faster than usual，一种“快送服务”。

️02️“delivery ”怎么理解？
delivery 才是日常使用的运输服务总称，the act of taking goods, letters, parcels, etc. to people's houses or places of work

只要不是自己亲自去取，都可以叫 delivery。
这是个B1名词，指“运送，递送，投递”；deliver 是动词，指“运送，递送，投递”。
外卖：food delivery
货到付款：cash on delivery
外卖小哥：deliveryman

We get two ️deliveries of mail (= it is delivered twice) a day.
我们每天会接收到两次邮件。
You can pay for the carpet ️on delivery (= when it is delivered).
